Seychelles remains a unique draw

For many of those considering purchasing Seychelles estate lots, the question they often ask themselves is, "Will I get enough use from this to make it worth the cost?" Island tourism officials say that's definitely the case for one Italian couple.

The Seychelles Tourism Board says over the past few decades, Fabrizio Banfi and Laura Regina have visited the Indian Ocean archipelago a total of 34 times, after first visiting back in 1977.

Even though their preoccupation with the Seychelles has reduced the amount of time they could visit other leading destinations, they still enjoy it.

"We simply love Seychelles and we save every year for our trip. We will keep choosing the islands as long as we are in good health," they said.

"We have traveled a lot and visited many places with similar features to Seychelles, but they are not as beautiful as Seychelles." added Banfi.

The Seychelles has earned favorable reviews from many others as well. In Conde Nast Traveler's most recent awards, the Seychelles were named as the sixth-best islands in Asia.
